Zivver Mobile App Installation Manual for Intune

Introduction

This chapter explains how to install the Zivver Mobile App on iOS and Android, and how to deploy the app to users with Microsoft Intune.

Technical requirements

  • Administrator access to Microsoft Intune.
  • Users’ phones must meet the following requirements:
    • iOS version 13.0 or higher
    • Android version 7.0 or higher
    • Able to connect to https://*.zivver.com over TLS v1.2 via port 443

Installation

Configure the mobile apps in Intune. Use the links below to jump to the sections for the different operating systems:

Android

Follow these steps to configure the mobile app for Android devices in Intune:

  1. Log in to the Azure admin center.
  2. Go to Intune.
    Search Intune in the search bar at the top, or open this link.
  3. Click Client apps.
  4. Click Apps.
  5. Click addAdd to add a new app.
  6. Select Android as the App type.
  7. Click App information - Configure.
  8. Enter the following information in the App information pane:
    • Name: Zivver Android (example)
    • Description: Zivver mobile app for Android (example)
    • Publisher: Zivver B.V.
    • Appstore URL: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.zivver.app&hl=en
    • Minimum operating system: Android 7.0 (Nougat)
    • Optional: Fill out the other fields as needed.
  9. Click OK.
  10. Click Add.
  11. Click Assignments.
  12. Click Add group.
  13. Select the preferred Assignment type:
    • Available for enrolled devices: Assign the app to user groups who can install it from the company portal app or website.
    • Available with or without enrollment: Assign the app to users whose devices are not enrolled with Intune. These users must have an Intune license.
    • Required: The app is automatically installed on devices in the selected groups.
  14. Click Included groups.
  15. Click Select groups to include, then choose the target groups or select Yes next to Make this app available to all users with enrolled devices.
  16. Click OK to confirm the selection and close the Assign pane.
  17. Click OK to close the Add group pane.
  18. Click Save.

iOS

Follow these steps to configure the mobile app for iOS devices in Intune:

  1. Log in to the Azure admin center.
  2. Go to Intune.
    Search Intune in the search bar at the top, or open this link.
  3. Click Client apps.
  4. Click Apps.
  5. Click addApps to add a new app.
  6. Select iOS as the App type.
  7. Click Search the App Store - Select app.
  8. Click the Search the App Store field.
  9. Type Zivver.
  10. Select the Zivver app that appears.
  11. Click Select to confirm.
  12. Click App information - Configure.
    Most information should already be filled in.
  13. Change Minimum operating system to iOS 13.0.
  14. Click OK to close the App information pane.
  15. Click Add.
  16. Click Assignments.
  17. Click Add group.
  18. Select the preferred Assignment type:
    • Available for enrolled devices: Assign the app to groups who can install it from the company portal.
    • Available with or without enrollment: Assign the app to users whose devices are not enrolled with Intune. These users must have an Intune license.
    • Required: The app is automatically installed on devices in the selected groups.
  19. Click Included groups.
  20. Click Select groups to include, then choose the groups or select Yes next to Make this app available to all users with enrolled devices.
  21. Click OK to confirm and close the Assign pane.
  22. Click OK to close the Add group pane.
  23. Click Save.

Uninstallation

Follow these steps to uninstall the mobile app using Intune. This option is only available in Intune for the iOS version of the app.

  1. Log in to the Azure admin center.
  2. Go to Intune.
    Search Intune in the field at the top, or open this link.
  3. Click Client apps.
  4. Click Apps.
  5. Select the iOS version of the mobile app.
  6. Click Assignments.
  7. Select the group the app is currently assigned to.
  8. Click Remove, and then Yes to confirm.
  9. Click Add group.
  10. Select Uninstall as the Assignment type.
  11. Click Included groups.
  12. Click Select groups to include and choose the groups for whom the app should be uninstalled, or select Yes next to Uninstall this app for all users or Uninstall this app for all devices, depending on your preference.
  13. Click OK to confirm the selection and close the Assign pane.
  14. Click OK to close the Add group pane.
  15. Click Save.

The uninstallation of the mobile app now automatically starts on the iOS devices of the users.
