Delegate your account
This article only applies to free Zivver accounts.
User accounts that are part of an organization cannot delegate their accounts themselves. Please contact your administrator to delegate your account.

Introduction
You can delegate the use of your Zivver account to the holder of a different Zivver account. A delegate can send and receive messages using your account, but cannot change your password or account settings.
Delegation is useful when multiple people share a “professional identity”. Examples include legal workers and secretarial staff.
Procedure for free accounts
Add delegates to your account
- Open the Zivver WebApp.
- Click the
Settings icon.
- Click group_add Delegation in the sidebar.
- Click .
An input window appears. - Enter the email address of an existing Zivver account.
- Click .
The delegate can now switch to your account to read and send messages on your behalf.
Remove delegates from your account
To remove a delegate account from the list of accounts that can send and receive messages on your behalf:
- Go to the Zivver WebApp.
- Click the
Settings icon.
- Click group_add Delegation in the sidebar.
- Click the delete_forever icon next to the delegate account you want to remove.
Delegation is now revoked; the former delegate can no longer read or send messages on your behalf.
